Tucker Hill’s “Ghouls on the Lawn” 2008
McKinney, TX

The Southernland Company’s Tucker Hill neighborhood in McKinney is a unique master-planned community which contains beautiful vintage style new homes unlike any you will see in North Dallas! Another bonus to living in the gorgeous surroundings of Tucker Hill are the numerous activities they provide for their residents and the McKinney community year round. One of which is their Halloween celebration “Ghouls on the Lawn!” The Tucker Hill staff knew they needed assistance putting together this event for 1,100 people, and they knew just who to call – Significant Events! We took one of their model homes and completely transformed it into a Haunted House for kids of all ages. Additional “spooktacular” lighting was added around the community to set the mood for the “Ghoulish” evening! Other activities included trick or treating, pumpkin painting, scary stories and roasted marshmallows around the fire pit, pictures on a movie set created to resemble The Addams Family home, and a classic Hollywood horror film on the big screen in Founders Square where you could truly see ghouls on the lawn!

Using Significant Events for our party helped make it much more professional, seamless and, best of all, easy! The lighting absolutely transformed the entire community! We would not have been able to envision this transformation, much less executed it without Significant Events and their lighting team. All of the services they provided were excellent, especially because I didn’t have to worry about them!

American Eurocopter’s Company Picnic
Grand Prairie, TX

American Eurocopter sure knows how to throw a great party for their valued employees and their families! And their first step was to hire the trusted event coordinators at Significant Events! This company picnic for 1,200 had to entertain both kids and adults, and there were awesome activities for all! In fact, there were so many activities to choose from, that it was hard to try everything! Guests of all ages could take helicopter rides in American Eurocopter’s signature helicopters; view luxury cars and motorcycles owned by the employees; play Bingo, miniature golf, horseshoes, and Human Foosball; get airbrush tattoos or caricatures; or try their strength on the Hi-Striker. Young kids also had the opportunity to do arts and crafts, get balloon art made, participate in hula hoop contests, jump in the Bouncy Houses, and create fun bubbles with gigantic bubble wands! Teenagers and adults had a blast playing volleyball and spending time in the Inflatable Jousting Ring and the Gyroscope. Everyone got a delicious lunch of burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill with salads, sweets, and fresh fruit as side dishes. If lunch didn’t fill them up, they had a chance to snack on popcorn, cotton candy, and sno cones. As you can see from the pictures, smiles and fun were a welcome reward for the hard work these employees do everyday!
