After a year of hard work, the Sounds of the Season gala finally arrived, and it was well worth the wait! Guests were astonished by the beauty of the venue as they entered a virtual winter wonderland right in the heart of Dallas. Classical ballet performances from The Nutcracker kicked off the evening, as guests enjoyed the delicious food that was served by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Significant Events personalized the event by naming each table after a DHF patient rather than just assigning standard table numbers. At each guest’s seat was a beautiful black and white portrait of their table’s namesake with their testimonial on the back of the photo. After moving videos and speeches from DHF recipients, there wasn’t a dry eye left in the house, and the presenters received numerous standing ovations! Guests showed their support for the foundation by shopping the silent auction and making individual donations. As they left for the evening, guests received music CD’s in their cars which contained a thank you from the DHF president and played classic sounds of the holiday season. In the end we raised thousands of dollars for a worthy cause and put the Dallas Hearing Foundation “on the map” in the philanthropic world for years to come. Significant Events is so proud to have been such a large part of this event!

McKinney, TX

The Southernland Company’s Tucker Hill neighborhood in McKinney is a unique master-planned community which contains beautiful vintage style new homes unlike any you will see in North Dallas! Another bonus to living in the gorgeous surroundings of Tucker Hill are the numerous activities they provide for their residents and the McKinney community year round. One of which is their Halloween celebration “Ghouls on the Lawn!” The Tucker Hill staff knew they needed assistance putting together this event for hundreds of children and adults, and they knew just who to call – Significant Events! We transformed the neighborhood square through use of “spooktacular” lighting and fog to set the mood for the “ghoulish” evening! Other activities included trick or treating, pumpkin painting, scary stories and roasted marshmallows around the fire pit, a magician performing for the kids, and a DJ who played scary and fun tunes for all to enjoy!
