The Southernland Company’s Tucker Hill neighborhood in McKinney is a unique master-planned community which contains beautiful vintage style new homes unlike any you will see in North Dallas! Another bonus to living in the gorgeous surroundings of Tucker Hill are the numerous activities they provide for their residents and the McKinney community year round. One of which is their Halloween celebration “Ghouls on the Lawn!” The Tucker Hill staff knew they needed assistance putting together this event for hundreds of children and adults, and they knew just who to call – Significant Events! We transformed the neighborhood square through use of “spooktacular” lighting and fog to set the mood for the “ghoulish” evening! Other activities included trick or treating, pumpkin painting, scary stories and roasted marshmallows around the fire pit, a magician performing for the kids, and a DJ who played scary and fun tunes for all to enjoy!

We rolled out the red carpet for this Hollywood themed Awards Banquet! Guests entered the Dallas Studio Movie Grill while being interviewed on the red carpet and photographed by the paparazzi as guests in the lobby enjoyed cocktails and popcorn and watched it all on the live feed flat screen television! Silent auction items were available for bidding with all proceeds benefiting ISES’s Scholarship Fund. Our own Hollywood Walk of Fame was created for guests to follow along, with each star dedicated to a previous ISES award winner. The completely transformed theater no longer looked like a movie theater but rather a glamorous Hollywood awards event space. Each guest received a “swag bag” at their luxuriously decorated table where a movie themed dinner was served! After the awards were handed out, we were treated to a performance by none other than Dallas’s own “Tina Turner.” The after party occurred in the back of the theater which had been transformed into a chic lounge as the DJ kept the music coming. A fabulous time was had by all! Special thanks to LiveWire Special Events, Fauxcades, Orange Spot Pink Nose, A.D. Parties & Events, AVSD Productions, Eclipse Entertainment, and VIM Studio for making this event a huge success!

Espionage and intrigue were the orders of the evening as friends came together to celebrate Dan Barclay’s James Bond inspired Casino Royale 50th Birthday Party! Guests dressed as legendary Bond characters and enjoyed casino games provided by Cohen’s Casino Parties. As they played Black Jack, Roulette, and Craps, guests dined on gourmet hors d’ourves, desserts, and martinis, shaken not stirred of course! Outside on the patio, guests could lounge by the fireplace, shoot pool, and smoke hand-rolled cigars prepared on site by a professional cigar roller. The party was decorated with custom made themed posters of Secret Agent Barclay which have to be seen to be believed! It was a party that Bond himself would have been proud of!
