Christina & Rehan’s fusion wedding was a celebration of culture and colors! For our ceremony in a rustic yet elegant chapel, we combined Christina’s Hispanic Catholic heritage with Rehan’s Pakistani Muslim heritage. All of the lovely ladies carried bright and beautiful bouquets of fuchsias, oranges, and yellows. The reception space had a similar color palette with touches of blue uplighting, magenta linens, and gold accents. Our food stations featured both Latin, Middle Eastern, and American flavors, and the music played by the DJ was also global in nature. Rehan’s friends opened the dance floor with a surprise dance performance that was so fun to watch. Our cake was gorgeous with elegant and dramatic gold detailing that complimented the wedding design and beautiful venue. It was a great night for this sweet couple!
“I loved how my hair and makeup artist did my hair. It stayed absolutely perfect all night (even after the veil was removed). I was comfortable and confident and didn’t have to worry about hair or make-up. She is also super easy and great to work with. Any changes I made, she executed flawlessly. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better make-up/hair day in my life!..... Everyone loved our venue. It was beautiful, well-set up, the staff was so kind. Everything about our venue was perfect.... Our officiant was excellent. Because our union was sensitive in terms of mixing cultures and religions, I feel that we could not have been in better hands than with him. He listened to us, didn’t make us feel judged or rushed, and was just generally a very sweet and kind person to be around. He was also very flexible and considerate to both of our families. That was the most important part to us and for that we are so happy to have worked with him…..Our caterer was so great to work with, and the chef just really did so much more than we could have hoped for. My in-laws LOVED the food. Rehan and I knew the food would be good, but it really just surpassed our expectations. If we could do it over again, Rehan and I would have had them cater the rehearsal dinner as well. Excellent customer service, super helpful and flexible. Definitely worth every penny.…. Our florist did an amazing job! She really understood what I was hoping for and gave me more than I expected. She even went above and beyond with the accents on our chairs for the sweetheart table. I couldn’t have asked for a better florist, and she’s one of the kindest people I’ve worked with. Super flexible! We got so many compliments and relative definitely wanted to keep the arrangements. I was so in love with what she did for us. She definitely got where I was going with all of this…. I think picking out the linens was one of the best parts of being the bride. I really enjoyed doing the table mock-up. I loved the end result as well. Our sweetheart table could not have been more beautiful. They were also super easy to work with and very friendly……The cake designer and her team did a great job with our cake! It was so pretty that I didn’t want to cut into it. Rehan loved it (sweets are very important to him). Our only regret is that we didn’t get to eat more of it! Again, everything we asked for and more. The detail she put into our cake that make it unique to us was amazing. She also made us some cookies for our welcome bags – everyone loved them! Again, when mixing both our cultures seemed like a challenge, we had great vendors that even surprised us….. The lighting was perfect! It seemed like they did more for us than I had planned in our contract. For example, the lighting on our cake really made it stand out. I’m not an expert by any means but I feel like there was a little extra in what they did for us. I loved being able to see the details. All of it was beautiful! Their set up really helped the details that the florist put into the centerpieces and florals stand out…. Our DJ was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He made both sides happy and us as well. He tended to the crowd really well, picking the perfect songs to play. He was excellent to work with and really listened to us when we discussed music choices with him. He always put us first and really had a wide variety for us to pick from. Something, I’m not sure if easy when you’re mixing two cultures, two religions, languages and areas of the country.
…. Our bus driver was so great! He made us laugh and was super accommodating to us. Our guests were very happy with the transportation and our families appreciated it. Safe, efficient, and customer orientated….. I know this wasn’t part of the service but honestly, I don’t think I could have gone through with the wedding without Meredith and our photographer Lacey. Lacey gave us support that we were really needing that day. Lacey had already taken pictures for our engagement shoot. She is phenomenal! Her work is genuine and she’s really good at getting your best side and making you feel comfortable. The service that Lacey provides really should cost more. She got some really great, personal shots for us. For that, I am so grateful….. Working with Meredith was the best decision we could have made for ourselves. Meredith gave us solid/exceptional vendor recommendations. Everyone that we ended up working with was exactly who and what we needed for our wedding to be a success. My in-laws loved everything and that was really important for me. I thought everything turned out great and was the perfect blend we were looking for. Not only was our day seamless in terms of execution and experience, but she also did so much more for us than that. Weddings can be stressful. Families can be stressful. She helped us to be able to enjoy our day despite what was going on in the background. I would recommend her and her team to anyone that’s planning a wedding but especially a wedding that involves differences. Overall, I don’t think our families and friends could have been happier and really, that’s what we wanted. We had a great time and she saved us a lot of stress.”
