Vivianna and Joe held a stunning wedding in downtown Dallas that celebrated Vivianna’s Cuban heritage as well as the couple’s American roots. The guests were invited to the wedding via the beautiful and classic gold and ivory letterpress invitation suite by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events. Bridesmaids wore rosy pink gowns and carried blush and ivory bouquets. Vivianna wore an elegant lace dress by Cuban designer Lazaro Perez and carried a cascading bouquet of white orchids mixed with lush blooms. The ceremony was held in a stunning cathedral with Latin and Gotchic architectural elements. Lovely pink and white floral decorated the aisle and the altar. The reception was held at a historic downtown Dallas venue. Guests entered the venue to see beautiful displays of florals on modern acrylic stands. A live Cuban band played Latin jazz tunes while guests enjoyed Cuban inspired appetizers and signature cocktails including mojitos and coquitas. The ballroom looked spectacular with ivory chiffon draping, a lucite white dance floor, a custom light-up stage façade to mimic a Havana night club, clear Charlotte chairs, champagne linens, crystal chargers, and blush and ivory florals adorning each table. A delicious plated dinner, including Cuban specialties was served followed by a Dulce de Leche cake! A Salsa band and a pop DJ alternated sets keeping the dance floor packed all night. Late night snacks consisted of Cuban Guava Pastelitos as well as a Cuban coffee station! And, of course, we had a Cuban cigar roller rolling custom cigars!
