To celebrate the opening of the newest philanthropic project of the Humane Society of the United States, Significant Events was commissioned to produce the VIP Dinner and Grand Opening Celebration of the Doris Day Horse Rescue and Adoption Center in East Texas. For the VIP Dinner, guests included local supporters from the community, professionals from the world of horsemanship including the renowned horse trainer Pat Parelli, and dignitaries from the Humane Society itself including Humane Society CEO Wayne Pacelli. Guests got to tour the recently completed pristine center which is focused on the adoption and rehabilitation of abused horses. The evening included a delicious 100% Vegan buffet dinner as well as presentations and a live country band under the beautiful tent we had erected on the property under the stars. Guests also enjoyed the Silent Auction which included a variety of items including an autographed guitar by country star Miranda Lambert. The Grand Opening the following day included horsemanship demonstrations, tours of the facility, a ribbon cutting, a flag raising, children’s activities, and a book signing from Wayne Pacelli. It was wonderful to be involved in an event for such a great cause!
