Monica and Sal held a two day Indian-Pakistani-American celebration in downtown Dallas. Guests were invited with sophisticated black and gold foil acrylic invitations in black silk jackets created by SIGNIFICANTLY SAID: INVITATIONS BY SIGNIFICANT EVENTS. The first event was a traditional Hindu wedding. The mandap was a beautiful and traditional red and gold design with red florals suspended from the ceiling and a design of red petals swirling down the aisle. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious vegetarian meal and the opportunity to get henna applied and spend time with friends and family. The following day was a sophisticated American style ceremony and reception with a modern black, white, and gold design. Monica carried a cascading bouquet of white orchids. Bridesmaids wore black and carried lovely bouquets of white florals as well. Our ceremony aisle was lined with white petals and had white draping and more white florals at the altar. During cocktail hour, a live singer-guitarist played, and guests found their seats with an adorable idea of place cards inserted into chocolate truffles. Our ballroom looked amazing with a white floral halo hanging above our custom white dance floor with black monogram. Tables featured black linens, black and gold chairs, gold chargers, gold flatware, and beautiful white florals. The cake was modern and elegant with square tiers with clear piers in between and white orchids cascading down. When it was time to party, everyone had a great time on the dance floor with the DJ and getting to play with the cryoblaster. A streamer send-off to a classic car ended a great weekend!
