With roots in the East Coast, Shelly and Matt knew that Boston would be the perfect place for their wedding. The selected site was the opulent Baroque Fairmont Copley hotel in downtown Boston, and it was perfect for their regal affair. Guests were invited with equally elegant letterpress and gold foil invitations with custom venue watercolors created by SIGNIFICANTLY SAID: INVITATIONS BY SIGNIFICANT EVENTS. Bouquets were soft and romantic designs of ivory and blush which looked perfect in the ornate ballroom with more florals flanking the altar. During cocktail hour, the ballroom was flipped for reception while guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks in the adjacent room. Once flipped, the ballroom looked so beautiful with ivory shantung linens and gold chairs, lush florals on every table, soft blush uplighting, and a fun black and white dance floor flanked by custom disco ball towers! Guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner and open bar as well as a classic, vintage cake. Then it was time to hit the dance floor to celebrate with the live band. A biscuit bar provided a yummy late night snack before the send-off!
