Sophia & Johann’s beautiful Houston wedding brought together two cultures in a celebratory weekend. We invited guests to the wedding via classic and elegant black and white letterpress invitations by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events The morning started with a traditional Chinese Tea ceremony at Sophia’s parents’ home, as a symbol of honor and love to Sophia and Johann’s parents. Later in the day a Christian ceremony was held at a lovely church. Bridesmaids wore pale blue and carried blush and ivory bouquets. Sophia looked perfect in her layered gown with her soft and romantic bouquet. Following the ceremony, guests traveled to most Houston’s iconic country club for the reception. The foyer was adorned with hanging greenery around the ceiling as a string quartet played and hors d’oeurves were served. The ballroom was stunning with greenery and blooms suspended from every crystal chandelier, lush peach & green floral centerpieces on every table, ivory linens, and gold chiavari chairs. Guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner and drinks. The beautiful wedding cake was displayed under the crystal chandelier in the foyer before it was cut and enjoyed by guests. A live band provided a great party for the rest of the night before we sent of the couple in a classic car.
