2017’s Most Memorable Moments

Our busiest year ever! With 57 events completed, we are so proud of the great year 2017 has been. Here are our Most Memorable Moments!

MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL GOWN: CHRISTINE’S GOWN (Hailey Paige)
Christine’s feminine and flouncy Hailey Paige gown was stunning from top to bottom with delicate lace detailing and modern back design. It was the perfect gown for our beautiful bride!

MOST MEMORABLE GOWN CHANGE: SHARON’S CEREMONY & RECEPTION GOWNS Sharon’s two looks for her wedding day were both reflective of her Christian faith and Indian culture, and she looked beautiful in both!

MOST MEMORABLE BRIDESMAIDS’ DRESSES: LINDSEY’S BRIDESMAIDS Mix and match bridesmaids’ dresses done right! We loved Lindsey’s bridesmaids’ mixed jewel tones paired with their bohemian bouquets.

MOST MEMORABLE GROOM’S PARTY ATTIRE: NICK & HIS GROOMSMENNothing beats a classic tuxedo on a group of handsome gents. Nick and his groomsmen epitomized this look on Nick & Becca’s big day.

MOST MEMORABLE HAIR & MAKE-UP: AW WEDDING HAIR It’s always a day of beauty when our brides work with Angie Williams of AW Wedding Hair and she provides classic glamour services to our bridal parties such as those this year for Blayne, Dani, Carley, Parker, Rachel, and Katie P.

MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING DESIGN: CHRISTIE & BLAKE’S WEDDING (Union Station, Kate Foley Designs, Beyond, Lawson’s Event Rental, BBJ Linen, Bella Acento, Fauxcades, Significantly Said) Christie and Blake’s wedding was elegant perfection complete with ivory and gold letterpress invitations by Significantly Said; lovely green and white floral arrangements by Kate Foley; ivory, gold, and velvet linens by BBJ, lounge furniture and stage design by Bella Acento & Fauxcades, and lighting to highlight everything by Beyond. Definitely one of our favorite wedding designs of all time!

MOST MEMORABLE ROOM TRANSFORMATION: HEIN’S 40th ANNIVERSARY PARTY AT CAVANAUGH FLIGHT MUSEUM (Astounding Sounds, Shag Carpet) We completely transformed a hangar at the Cavanaugh Flight Museum into a colorful and festive environment for Hein’s Anniversary Party thanks to lighting from Astounding Sounds and decor from Shag Carpet!

MOST MEMORABLE SOUTH ASIAN WEDDING: NINA & ALEX’S WEDDING (Union Station, One Event Decor by Nalini, DJ Riz Entertainment, Wolfgang Puck Catering, Edmonson Photography, MNMFoto Videography, Happy Trails Carriage, Vindu Catering, Sugar Bee Sweets, Our Place Catering, Significantly Said) Nina and Alex had a full day of celebration for 400 guests including a baraat, Hindu ceremony, luncheon, dinner, and reception with loads of beautiful decor, great food, and a blast of a party!

MOST MEMORABLE CORPORATE EVENT: TRITON DME’S 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY ARABIAN NIGHTS EXTRAVAGANZA (Prashe, CN Catering, Beyond, Shag Carpet, Lakeview Bakery, LeForce Entertainment, B3 Entertainment, Authentic Belly Dancing Entertainment, Blow Hookah, D&L Protective Services, Dirty Little Freaks Band, Krauzian Images, KM Henna Artistry, Premier Transportation, Significantly Said, Victory Photo & Video) What a party! We celebrated TritonDME’s 5th Anniversary with an over-the-top Arabian Nights themed celebration at the CEO’s home complete with a camel and monkey for photo opportunities, hookah lounge, henna artistry, fortune telling, palm reading, incredible themed decor, and fabulous food and entertainment. It was a party the guests will not soon forget!

MOST MEMORABLE CHARITABLE EVENT: DALLAS HEARING FOUNDATION’S 9th ANNUAL FUNDRAISER So wonderful to be part of this event for the last 9 years! Our gala this year focused on the feelings of joy, hope, empowerment, faith, resolve, determination, and success that DHF provides to its recipients year after year. Bright colors and bright smiles as we raised money for this noteworthy cause punctuated the evening.

MOST MEMORABLE SOCIAL EVENT: DAVID’S RETIREMENT PARTY (Park City Club, Justin Cash Trio, Haute Floral, Frosted Art, BBJ Linen, Significantly Said, John Christopher Photography) Such a special party to be part of, celebrating David’s career and life in style. It was an emotional and beautiful evening for David and his family!

MOST MEMORABLE EVENT DECOR: PRASHE The team at Prashe provided exceptional decor for a wide range of our events this year including Triton DME’s 5th Anniversary Party, Tareen & Shumon’s Wedding, Rita & Eric’s Wedding, and Karla & Julian’s Wedding.

MOST MEMORABLE EVENT FURNITURE: SHAG CARPET We love working with the folks at Shag Carpet for all kinds of event decor, but this year they were standouts with great lounge furniture pieces for Hein’s 40th Anniversary, Stream Realty’s Broker Appreciation Event, and Karla & Julian’s rehearsal dinner.

MOST MEMORABLE D.I.Y.: BROOKE & KYLEN’S WEDDING Our graphic designer bride Brooke did a beautiful job for her wedding design creating letterpressed invitations, table numbers, escort cards, and signage. Additionally, Brooke’s family created their own S’mores station for a fun dessert for guests!

MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL BOUQUETS: PETALS COUTURE Such beautiful bouquets for our brides Blayne, Brooke, Stephanie, and Jennifer to carry this year courtesy of Petals Couture. We loved all of the pieces designer Emily created this year for us!

MOST MEMORABLE BRIDESMAIDS’ BOUQUETS: KATE FOLEY DESIGNS Such pretty bouquets always for our bridesmaids from Kate Foley, including these this year for the bridesmaids of Christie, Shannon, and Katie P.!

MOST MEMORABLE CENTERPIECES: HAUTE FLORAL So many gorgeous centerpieces this year from designer Kristen Wolchik of Haute Floral. We loved the pieces she produced for the reception designs of Dani & Chris, Tareen & Shumon, Ashley & Kelsey, and Jerri & Tom as well as for David’s Retirement Party and the DHF Gala.

MOST MEMORABLE LARGE SCALE FLORAL: LUSH COUTURE FLORAL Spectacular altars and other large scale pieces were created this year for our weddings courtesy of designer Deitra Butler at Lush Couture Floral. We were wowed by the pieces she designed for the weddings of Laiken & Tanner, Felicia & Kyle, Parker & John, and Sarah & Kevin!

MOST MEMORABLE HEAD TABLE: CARLEY & CHAD’S HEAD TABLE (Branching Out, BBJ Linen, Beyond) Loved Carley and Chad’s beauty of a head table with floral by Branching Out, linens and chargers by BBJ Linen, and lighting by Beyond!

MOST MEMORABLE LIGHTING: LEFORCE ENTERTAINMENT Lighting makes all the difference and our friends at LeForce Entertainment brought so many of our events to light beautifully this year including the weddings of Laiken & Tanner, Erin & Brandon, Jennifer & Andy, Brittini & Skyler, Hannah & Creighton, Karen & Geoff, Brooke & Kylen, Katie P. & Cody, Katie T. & Justin, Tareen & Shumon, Blayne & Travis, Melissa & Greg, Shannon & Armando, and Karla & Julian as well as the Canyon Falls Fallapalooza.

MOST MEMORABLE AV/TECHNICAL PRODUCTIONS: BEYOND The team at Beyond always makes sure our A/V needs for our corporate events are top notch and that was the case for the Service First Mortgage’s Company Rally and Sales Summit and Stream Realty’s Trammel Crow Reveal and Summit.

MOST MEMORABLE CAKES: FROSTED ART Bronwen Weber and her team at Frosted Art blew us away this year with some of our favorite cakes of all time including for the weddings of Mayeesa & Mashrur, Rachel & Travis, Stephanie & Lucas, Jennifer & Andy, Christine & Kevin, and Sarah & Kevin as well as for David’s Retirement Party.

MOST MEMORABLE DESSERTS: AMUSE BAKE SHOP It’s been so exciting to see pastry designer Raelyn Peters grow in leaps and bounds this year with Amuse Bake Shop. We loved all the tasty and fun treats she created for the weddings of Karen & Geoff, Christie & Blake, and Karla & Julian; the branded treats for Stream Realty, QTS, and DHF; and the awesome cookies she made for Meredith’s son’s birthday party!

MOST MEMORABLE LINENS: BBJ LINEN Year after year BBJ continually provides a wonderful service and beautiful linens to compliment our events and they did so again this year for the weddings of Brooke & Kylen, Christie & Blake, Christine & Kevin, Dani & Chris, Felicia & Kyle, Jennifer & Andy, Karen & Geoff, Katie P. & Cody, Katie T. & Justin, Laiken & Tanner, Madeleine & Joe, Rita & Eric, and Sarah & Kevin as well as for David’s Retirement Party.

MOST MEMORABLE RENTALS: DUCKY-BOB’S/M&M/MARQUEE EVENT RENTALS Great rentals provided this year for the DHF Gala, the Service First Mortgage Company Rally, QTS’s Ft. Worth Facility Dedication, and the weddings of Dani & Chris and Carley & Chad.

MOST MEMORABLE INVITATION SUITE: ERIN & BRANDON’S INVITATIONS by Significantly Said Erin and Brandon requested an elegant night-time feel to their invitations and Significantly Said Invitation Designer Abby Leal delivered on all levels, creating their Dallas night-sky invitation suite which looked magical printed on sparkly metallic paper paired with dark blue envelopes with white printing.

MOST MEMORABLE CEREMONY LOCATION: THE DALLAS ARBORETUM Always a favorite year after year, the Dallas Arboretum offers so many beautiful ceremony spots such as the Color Garden for Dani & Chris’s wedding and the Women’s Garden for Tareen & Shumon’s nikkah.

MOST MEMORABLE RECEPTION LOCATION: THE ADOLPHUS HOTEL We have continued to love our experiences with the professional staff and gorgeous setting at The Adolphus Hotel such as the receptions this year for Katie P. & Cody, Katie T. & Justin, Shannon & Armando, and Sarah & Kevin.

MOST MEMORABLE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS: THE TARNOS It’s always great to to see the lovely engagement photos that Britney & Ben Tarno create for our couples such as this year for Brooke & Kylen and Katie P. & Cody!

MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY: JOSEPH MARK PHOTOGRAPHY Such beautiful photography this year from Joe & Stephanie Ellis of Joseph Mark Photography. Whether stunning portraits or fun candids, they preserved amazing timeless memories for Blayne & Travis and Carley & Chad.

MOST MEMORABLE NON-WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY: JOHN CHRISTOPHER PHOTOGRAPHY No matter the event, our friend and photographer John Livas is always up for the challenge, and he was a wonderful asset to us this year for the Canyon Falls Fallapalooza, the DHF Gala, and David’s Retirement Party.

MOST MEMORABLE VIDEOGRAPHY: SPLENDOR FILMS Always a pleasure to work with Jeff Coombes at Splendor Films and to see the incredible videos he creates for our clients’ weddings such as this year for Karla & Julian and Carley & Chad!

MOST MEMORABLE DJ’s: LEFORCE ENTERTAINMENT Our events are always tons of fun when DJ’s from LeForce Entertainment are running the show. We had great experiences this year with DJ Adam Morgan for Melissa & Greg and Jennifer & Andy; with DJ Cratin Sheffield for Blayne & Travis and Sarah & Kevin; with DJ Greg Anderson for Karen & Geoff, Parker & John, and at the DHF Gala; with DJ Adam Wilmore for Laiken & Tanner; with DJ Dan Reynolds at the Canyon Falls Fallapalooza; with DJ Nate Nelson at the TritonDME 5th Anniversary; and with DJ Ed Petty for Hannah & Creighton.

MOST MEMORABLE LIVE BAND: DOWNTOWN FEVER No matter what part of town we are in, we know when Downtown Fever is on stage, we are all set for a great party, and that’s just what they brought for the wedding receptions of Stephanie & Lucas, Felicia & Kyle, and Christine & Kevin.

MOST MEMORABLE CATERING: CN CATERING We love working with CN Catering on all types of events, large and small. They provided delicious food and stellar service again this year for the weddings of Brittini & Skyler, Carley & Chad, and Hannah & Creighton; as well as at the Service First Mortgage Company Rally and the TritonDME 5 Year Anniversary.

MOST MEMORABLE OFFICIANTS: LOVE NOTES Love Notes consistently helps our couples craft personal and meaningful ceremonies year after year, such as this year with Ken Byrd for Jennifer & Andy and Sarah & Kevin; Lou Whitworth for Brittini & Skyler and Jerri & Tom; and Dave Tucker for Lindsey & Adam.

MOST MEMORABLE TRANSPORTATION: PREMIER TRANSPORTATION From town cars to vans to limos to buses, Premier had us covered on all transportation fronts this year, and we truly value their service. They provided the perfect vehicles for the weddings of Becca & Nick, Carley & Chad, Jennifer & Andy, Karla & Julian, Katie T. & Justin, Melissa & Greg, and Stephanie & Lucas; as well as for the QTS Facility Dedication and the TritonDME 5 Year Anniversary!

MOST MEMORABLE SURPRISE: JULIAN’S MUSICAL ACTS FOR KARLA 1 surprise? How about 4? Julian & Karla’s wedding was chock full of unique musical performances, 4 of which were a surprise for Karla: The reggae singer who sang one of Karla’s favorite songs for the ceremony recessional, a custom-made choral ensemble who performed a favorite Broadway hit as a tribute to Karla’s father, a trumpeter who performed with the DJ from Mexico City, and a send-off ensemble for the end of the night. There were surprises at every turn!

MOST MEMORABLE HASHTAG: #MadAboutHerMan (Madeleine & Joe’s Wedding) Madeleine Samuelson and Joe Herman were married this winter, and she was just #MadAboutHerMan. So cute!
