Emma & Stuart hosted a beautiful and classic wedding in the heart of Dallas. Guests were first introduced to the lovely design through their letterpressed and foil stamped invitations with custom watercolor venue drawings created by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events. Bridesmaids wore blush and carried lovely blooms of ivories and blush. Emma was radiant and royal in her silk ballgown with crystal headpiece and cascading orchid bouquet. The ceremony was held in the most beautiful church with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. The reception was held in a 100 year old hotel in the heart of downtown filled with so many unique architectural elements. The ballroom sparkled with crystal chandeliers extended above a white dance floor. Tables were adorned with gorgeous blush and ivory florals atop ivory linens. The head table was especially grand with tall florals and candles! After sampling the delicious dinner stations, guests got to taste the incredible cakes – Emma’s was a classic buttercream creation accented with fresh florals, and Stewart’s was the most amazing rendering of the stadium of his alma mater – the University of Alabama! Alabama and Texas A&M battled it out on the dance floor for most energetic fight song, which was such a blast! The party continued throughout the night dancing to the music of the DJ and enjoying late night snacks of boozy milkshakes and Whataburger chicken biscuits. The night ended with a sparkler send-off into a classic car.
Ashley & Clay’s Wedding
Ashley and Clay wanted a wedding filled with elegance, glamour, and sophistication, and this vision came together beautifully. Their wedding was held in a historic Dallas hotel with the charm of a bygone era. Ashley wore a breathtaking couture gown and carried her lush and flowing bouquet in reds, pinks, and greens. Bridesmaids wore glamorous gold and carried bouquets in the same shades as Ashley’s. Their ceremony ballroom was romantic and surreal, with crystal candleabras flanking the aisle as Ashley walked towards Clay standing at their altar of ivory draping, gold candle walls, blush uplighting, and dramatic floral arrangements. Cocktail hour featured signature cocktails with Clay’s favorite Old Fashioneds and Ashley’s favorite: Champagne! Champagne with a submerged hibiscus flower to be exact! The reception ballroom was exquisite with gold linens and gold chivari chairs, crystal and gold chargers, and beautiful red and pink floral arrangements. The head table featured several crystal candleabras for a dramatic and stunning look. Chandeliers hung around the room for added sparkle. Following a delicious plated dinner, cake was served alongside a champagne tower. Such a fun element! A fabulous party band kept the dance floor packed, and a live wedding painter captured the entire event on canvas. Breakfast tacos and mini donuts were served as a late night snack before the flutterfetti send-off. For extra fun, Ashley & Clay stopped at 7-11 after their wedding for Slurpees and a silly memory of the fact that their wedding was on July 11th! Such a wonderful event!
