MOST MEMORABLE EVENT DESIGN: JENNY & ROB’S WEDDING (Beyond, Fun Factory Events, Out of the Garden, TLC Event Rentals, & Westin Galleria) Shaun Menary Photography Oh my goodness, we will never forget this wedding! Jenny & Rob wanted the design of their wedding to be reminiscient of the chic style of the 1960’s and, in particular, their favorite t.v. show Mad Men and we designed and carried that look throughout the event from start to finish. Jenny’s bridesmaids wore custom made dresses in a 60’s silhouette, and the groomsmen wore suits and 60’s skinny ties. The ballroom at the Westin Galleria was transformed into a sexy 1960’s supper club through the lighting and stage backdrop from Beyond, the crushed shimmer taupe linens and chairs from TLC Event Rentals, the beautifully designed floral from Out of the Garden, and the custom made table lamps from Fun Factory Events. Each table was named after a character from Mad Men, and guests arrived dressed in fun attire from that period. Our band dressed the part as well and sang many songs of that era. Photobooth props included Mad Men themed costumes, and our groom’s cake had a design of Jenny & Rob in that likeness as well. A fun surprise for guests were late night snacks of candy cigarettes and honey roasted peanuts served in Pan Am designed peanut bags distributed by sexy Pan Am flight attendants! And, of course, the entire evening was captured and edited by the talented photographer Shaun Menary who put his own 60’s edge on the photos to boot! Such a memorable event design!

They also put together the “quilt” guestbook and the adorable signage that hung overhead. In fact, signage created by Shannon was placed in all areas of the wedding to tie the overall look together. A yummy and fun treat for guests!
MOST MEMORABLE FAVOR: KADY’S CHARITABLE DONATION Perez Photography Our bride Kady is a miracle. She spent much of her childhood at Texas Children’s Hospital’s “Heart Place.” At the hospital, the sick children were taken around the hospital in wagons, so in lieu of a favor, Kady’s family made a donation to Heart Place in the guests’ honor in order to purchase more wagons. So, we brought one of the wagons to the wedding and filled it with floral from The Wildflower and signage from Significantly Said. Guests were very moved by the touching sentiment!

It was the perfect example of using fuchsia in a sophisticated and complementary manner.
MOST MEMORABLE CENTERPIECES: KRISTN & TYSON’S CENTERPIECES (LAVENDER FLORAL – SONOMA, CA) It’s always nerve-wracking working with a vendor you have never worked with before, especially thousands of miles away for a destination wedding, but Lavender Floral of Sonoma, CA did not disappoint. All of the flowers for the wedding were gorgeous, but the centerpieces were our faves! The rich oranges and greens were the perfect choice for a fall wedding and the variety of flowers used in these groupings were so fitting for this couple. Against the chocolate brown linens the flowers really popped, and the inclusion of local, organic fruit was a wonderful touch as well to celebrate this couple’s love of fine foods and the abundance of fresh produce found locally in Wine Country.

MOST MEMORABLE INVITATIONS: BECKY & LUCAS’S INVITATIONS (SIGNIFICANTLY SAID – INVITATIONS BY SIGNIFICANT EVENTS) Taylor Abbey Photography The invitation is the first example your guests have of the event to come, and no invitation could have set the tone better for Becky and Lucas’s classic black and white wedding than this beautiful ensemble by Significantly Said. The couple loved it so much that Lucas had the invitations mounted in a shadowbox and presented to Becky at the reception as a wedding gift!
MOST MEMORABLE DALLAS VENUE: EM THE VENUE (ROBIN & ANDY’S WEDDING) LifeAsArt Photography We will never forget the wedding of Robin & Andy and how we were the first wedding ever at the brand spanking new eM the Venue. Robin booked the venue while it was a still construction shell based on nothing more than artistic renderings. Fingers crossed that it would be done in time, and it came down to the wire. A week prior to the wedding, construction was still happening around the clock, and Robin and I were biting our nails with nervousness, but we were assured by owners Marc DePetris and Jason Mast that the project would be completed in time. Literally the morning of the wedding, construction crews were putting the finishing touches on the venue, but the result could not have been more beautiful. When Robin walked into the space on her wedding day, she burst into tears seeing what a transformation had occurred. It was truly a celebration that evening for all involved!
MOST MEMORABLE DESTINATION VENUE: CORNERSTONE GARDENS – SONOMA, CA (KRISTN & TYSON’S WEDDING) Shaun Menary Photography 2011 marked our first year of destination weddings, and we could not have been happier with our experience at the gorgeous Cornerstone Gardens in Sonoma, CA for Kristn & Tyson’s wedding. The venue was the perfect fit for this couple, and besides being set amongst the vibrant vineyards of California Wine Country, the venue harbors a beautiful dining tent for dinner as well as a quintessential California barn for the reception. We were blessed with good weather that evening as well as the ability to use all spaces and even take photos with some of the unique and innovative art on the property.

Guests were so impressed to see the room so transformed by lighting and to see how lighting can become an essential decor element. Great party with great lighting!
MOST MEMORABLE DJ/PARTY EXPERIENCE: SARAH & KANE’S WEDDING (GLENN ROUSH ENTERTAINMENT) Hampton Morrow Photography This wedding could not have been more fun! The evening started off with a bang with our DJ Glenn Roush doing fun intros with the wedding party that had all of the guests laughing hysterically and the party continued all night long as Glenn got the guests onto the dance floor and kept them there for 3 straight hours. Such a blast!
MOST MEMORABLE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: IDENTITY THEFT (ROBIN & ANDY’S WEDDING) LifeAsArt Photography This was our first wedding to do with Identity Theft but we immediately fell in love with their great energy, strong musical skills, and ability to read and react to the crowd. And apparently the wedding guests agreed as they danced for hours and even asked for an encore! We are looking forward to more events with them in 2012!
MOST MEMORABLE FAVOR: MICHELE & BECK’S WEDDING BOOK FAVORS Michele & Beck are both librarians and incorporated their love of books into many aspects of their wedding design. From their “Library Card” Save the Dates to having a published author as their officiant, books abounded but nowhere more meaningfully than with their favors. When Beck & Michele moved in together, they combined their personal libraries and found they had many duplicates. These duplicates formed part of their centerpieces, and guests were instructed to pick a book or two to enjoy in their homes as our brides had in theirs for so many years.
MOST MEMORABLE TRANSPORTATION: ANNIE & DEVIN’S WEDDING (CITY OF MCKINNEY TROLLEY) Hampton Morrow Photography With a wedding in the heart of McKinney, there is no better way to transport your guests than with the historic trolley offered by the City of McKinney. Annie & Devin and their wedding party had the best time on the trolley, and we got some great pictures from our photographer Hampton Morrow as well in and with the trolley!
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL: KRISTN & TYSON’S WEDDING (ELAINE BELL CATERING – NAPA, CA) Hard to beat a meal coming out of Wine Country, and we with thrilled with the options provided by Napa based Elaine Bell Catering for Kristn & Tyson. From our tasting months before the wedding, we all fell in love with this company’s options, and guests were delighted with the fresh and delicious meal they received that evening which included: Hors d’ourves of Fresh Live Pickles filled with Chicken Salad, Mini BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Shoestring Fries, and Provencal Tartlets; Entree of Baby Organic Greens with Feta Cheese, Fresh Cranberries, & Herbed Vinagrette, Tuscan Fulton Valley Chicken Breast and Roasted Marinated Petite Sirloin with Horseradish Scallion Sauce, Green Pea Risotto and Grilled Wine Country Vegetables; and last but not least a dessert of a wedding cake made of wheels of cheese with sides of fresh honeycomb and fig membrillo. My mouth is watering just remembering this fantastic meal!
MOST MEMORABLE EVENT BRANDING: MAGE SOLAR TRADE SHOW AFTER PARTY (SIGNIFICANT EVENTS, FAUXCADES, BEYOND, AND BRAVO! ENTERTAINMENT) For the after party for a major solar corporation vying for visibility amongst competitors, branding was key! As guests walked up to the venue, they saw the signature colors of the company reflected in a wash of the terrace as well as with multiple Gobo projections and skytracker lights provided by Beyond. Enormous vinyl decals covered windows and doors and even the elevator at every possible turn provided by Fauxcades, Significant Events provided custom branded centerpieces for every table, and last but not least, branded baby tees were donned by a crew of gorgeous girls provided by Bravo! Entertainment who mingled and danced with guests at what became the best party in the entire space!
MOST MEMORABLE EVENT DESIGN: BETH & CHARLIE’S WEDDING (BETH SANDLIN, DEITRA BUTLER, & MEREDITH COMMENDER) Dorothy Gautreaux Photography Oh, how we loved this gorgeous design! Beth had a ton of great ideas and a vision of how she wanted the wedding to look down to the tiniest detail. She spent hours crafting many of the DIY pieces herself, and once we enlisted the floral design expertise of Deitra Butler of Lush Couture and the event design experience of Yours Truly, our team effort created an event that was truly beautiful and interesting to view and has already been featured in numerous publications.
So many amazing memories in 2011! We can’t wait to see what 2012 will bring! Happy New Year and thank you for allowing us to be part of the most significant events of your life! Love, Meredith, Kelli, Elizabeth, and Danielle
2010 has been our best year to date here at Significant Events. With 30 completed events, we are so proud to have been able to partner with so many outstanding vendors and create wonderful memories for all of our beloved clients. It was almost impossible to choose our favorite moments of the year because there were so many great ones, but here they are!
MOST MEMORABLE VENUE: Nasher Sculpture Center (Dallas, TX)There are few venues in Dallas that I love more than the Nasher Sculpture Center. If you are blessed with good weather, as we were for Lindsay & Dave’s wedding, the sculpture garden truly transforms into a magical place in the evening. And when I heard that Lindsay wanted to do long tables instead of rounds and we got to design a gorgeous table of white hemstitch linens from BBJ Linen with gorgeous, fresh “woodland” centerpieces filled with cymbidium orchids from Cebolla Fine Flowers? Swoon. I don’t know which one of us loved the look more! (Photo by Stephen Karlisch)
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL: Provided by Gil’s Elegant Catering For Michael & Dash’s summer wedding in Rosine Hall of the Dallas Arboretum, we were treated to a delicious bevy of food stations provided by Gil’s Elegant Catering. The evening began with passed hors d’ourves of Lobster Club Sandwiches, Chicken Salad on Masa Shortbread, and Pork Tenderloin on Sweet Potato Pancakes. Dinner stations consisted of a Kobe Beef Burger Station with Gourmet Potato Chips; a Fondue Station which also included Ahi Tuna, Parma Ham & Asparagus, and Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes; a Carving Station with Roasted Herb Crusted Sirloin and Ricotta & Spinach Stuffed Chicken; and a Three Cheese Macaroni Station with a variety of toppings! My mouth is watering as I type this! (Photo by Jamye Perelli)
MOST MEMORABLE UNIQUE FOOD ITEM: Stephanie’s Champagne Snow Cones For “Stephanie’s Surprise 40th Birthday Spectacular” we pulled out all the stops and created an over the top adult carnival that guests absolutely loved! By far, the favorite food item that night was the Champagne Snow Cones! Simple shaved ice with a variety of snow cone syrups mixed with champagne was a yummy twist on a childhood favorite! (Photo by Hannah Piles)
MOST MEMORABLE EVENT DESIGN: Czars of VinylFor the launch party of audio/video/DJ company Czars of Vinyl, Significant Events transformed Marc Events into an underground Russian night club. Guests entered the venue to see modern lounge furniture and tables provided by Cort Event Rentals. Cocktail waitresses provided by Jen Caroll Marketing wore Russian snow bunny outfits as they served 42 Below Vodka cocktails. Guests entered the main event space through red velvet draping provided by Quest Drape. More urban furniture from Cort filled the room, and custom made Russian centerpieces created by Significant Events sat on every table. 2 bars provided by Cort with vinyl logos from Shag Carpet flanked either end of the room as did funky Gogo cages provided by M&M Event Rentals. Even the dancers themselves, provided by Jen Carroll Marketing, were part of their decor in their outfits hand selected by Significant Events and branded by Orange Spot Pink Nose. And, of course, no nightclub can be complete without awesome lighting, provided that evening by Beyond. сказочные! (Photos by Phase 3 Photography).
MOST MEMORABLE LIGHTING: provided by Beyond For “A Wedding for All Seasons: An Evening with Sasha Souza,” Beyond transformed the Wedgwood Ballroom at the Hilton Anatole Hotel into a truly “seasonal” experience. With the tabletops and centerpieces designed around the 4 seasons and the meal representing the 4 seasons as well, Beyond complemented the entire experience by pinspotting the gorgeous centerpieces from Out of the Garden and using color washes on the wall which gradually changed colors 4 times throughout the evening. The result was beautiful and memorable! (Photo by Nick Mallouf)
MOST MEMORABLE LARGE FLORAL ARRANGEMENT: provided by Out of the Garden This truly breathtaking altar was created by the amazing designers at Out of the Garden for Sara and Wes’s wedding at The Parson’s Table in Aledo. Sara said that she had always dreamed of a “flower filled wedding,” and, boy, did she get one. Her romantic, country wedding was adorned from top to bottom, from bouquets to centerpieces, from Out of the Garden. It was hard to choose which of their work from that day was my favorite, but this altar arrangement took the cake. Stunning! (Hampton Morrow Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL BOUQUET: created by Bows and Arrows Bows and Arrows created this gorgeous bouquet for Kelly and Devin’s wedding, recently featured in D Weddings magazine. Both Kelly and I literally gasped when it was delivered, and it was the perfect bouquet for the Kelly’s vintage style and her pale yellow and pink color scheme. Kelly described it as “the most beautiful bouquet she had ever seen.” You can’t ask for more than that!
MOST MEMORABLE BRIDESMAIDS’ BOUQUETS: created by The Urban Blossom Our vintage and modern bride Amanda loved these Chartreause bridesmaids dresses she selected for her attendants along with their plum colored shoes, and so did we! When paired with the garden party/woodland atmosphere for her and Matt’s April wedding ceremony, The Urban Blossom created bouquets that tied everything together and didn’t balk at the bold bridesmaids’ dress color. The result was perfectly designed perfection! (Photo by Colleen Allison for Capture! Studios)
MOST MEMORABLE CENTERPIECES: created by Out of the Garden For “A Wedding for All Seasons: An Evening with Sasha Souza,” Out of the Garden created a variety of magnificent centerpieces which represented the 4 seasons of the year and flowed seamlessly around the room. Guests were awestruck as they entered the room and saw their incredible work! (Photo by Nick Mallouf)
MOST MEMORABLE WEDDING CAKE: created by Fancy Cakes by Lauren Absolutely loved this masterpiece created by Fancy Cakes by Lauren for Sara and Wes’s wedding. The brooches were antiques belonging to Sara’s grandmother, and Lauren’s lace detailing perfectly matched the “burlap and lace” look we had created for the wedding as well as Sara’s beautiful lace gown. And it was a lemon champagne flavor to boot! Mmm mmm. (Hampton Morrow Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE “NON WEDDING” CAKE: created by Sweet Art Bakery For this year’s Sounds of the Season gala benefiting the Dallas Hearing Foundation, all I had to do was tell Sweet Art Bakery my color scheme and theme, and they let the creative juices flow! And the result was this winter wonderland beauty that guests oohed and ahhed at before getting to taste the chocolate mint cake that was contained inside the beautiful artistry of airbrushing, sugary snowflakes, and winter sparkle!
MOST MEMORABLE GRAPHIC DESIGN/BRANDING: created by Orange Spot Pink Nose For “A Wedding for All Seasons: An Evening with Sasha Souza,” Significant Events used Sasha’s book “Signature Sasha” as inspiration for the design and branding. Quotes from the book were selected to describe the different elements of the event, and the creative geniuses at Orange Spot Pink Nose created a beautiful, cohesive design to brand the entire event. From the signs on the runway of the bridal gown models, to the signage adorning the centerpieces and cake table, to the program, to the menu card, to the bookmark party favor, to the vinyl appliques on the chargers that were all the rage, it was truly a great example of the power and artistry of successful branding and design. MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL GOWN: Lianne Collins Armpriester Our fall bride Lianne looked absolutely radiant in her beautiful lace gown with satin and crystal waistband. Her wedding at the Crystal Ballroom in Houston was also a reflection of her elegant style, but Lianne was radiant in this Allure gown (Photos forthcoming by Morgan Lynn Photography).
MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL PHOTO: Tara Acton Page captured by Dorothy Gautreaux Photography This adorable shot of Tara captured by Dorothy Gautreaux was a perfect tribute to her funloving personality and flowy, princess dress. The colorful bouquet created by Justine’s Flowers was a preview of the whimsical, color filled ceremony and reception that we created for her fall wedding at the Dallas Arboretum.
MOST MEMORABLE PHOTO OVERALL: Anna’s Dress captured by Lynn Michelle Photography There were many fabulous photos to view from Courts and Anna’s wedding at Lakewood Theater, but this was my favorite. Lynn Michelle completely embraced the art deco wonder that is Lakewood Theater and took advantage of the trussing and lighting to capture this incredible image.
MOST MEMORABLE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: provided by the Texas Ballet Theater School Though this photo is from last year’s event, for the second year in a row the Texas Ballet Theater School has graced the stage at Union Station for the Sounds of the Season gala, benefitting the Dallas Hearing Foundation, delighting guests with an amazing and fitting performance from The Nutcracker. This year they performed the “Snow Dance,” and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our Winter Wonderland theme. Guests rated the entertainment a 10+ on the event survey!
MOST MEMORABLE PARTY ATMOSPHERE: provided by Glenn Roush Productions I always tell clients that the key to a great party at your wedding reception is an open bar, dim lighting, and a great DJ or band! Errin and Zach had the magical combination at their wedding reception, as DJ Glenn Roush kept the guests dancing for hours. And not only dancing! Singing arm in arm, serenading Errin, and even hoisting her over their heads in her chair. The look on her face is priceless, and the party continued all night long!
MOST MEMORABLE PARTY FAVOR: Tara & Josh’s Calculators A colorful wedding? Check! Bride and groom are both accountants? Check! Wedding full of fun and whimsy? Check! I couldn’t believe I was able to find such a perfect favor for Tara and Josh’s wedding. How cute!
MOST MEMORABLE FUN MOMENT: Aviana’s Flipbooking Grandparents Flipbook stations from PicFlips are always a huge hit at parties and weddings, but I never could have anticipated how much fun guests would have at Aviana’s flipbook station at her Sweet 16 at Bridlewood Golf Club. Young and old alike had a blast all night making fun flipbooks and, as you can see, even grandma and grandpa stepped up to the plate! (Laceymarie Photography)
Happy Holidays to you and yours, and we look forward to creating more memorable moments for our 2011 clients! Cheers!

MOST MEMORABLE OUTDOOR VENUE: THE DALLAS ARBORETUM The Jonsson Color Garden at the Dallas Arboretum was the perfect setting for Jessica & Ryan’s outdoor ceremony. No additional floral was needed as the Garden provided it’s own natural beauty! (Jules & Albie Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE INDOOR VENUE: UNION STATION Union Station will take your breath away! In fact, when I showed this room to my client for the Dallas Hearing Foundation’s Sounds of the Season gala, she burst into tears at how beautiful it looked! I also have to give props to Lumen Event Lighting for achieving this look on the ceiling! (Vim Studio Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE MEAL: KENT RATHBUN CATERING Kent Rathbun Catering provided the delicious meal for Jon & Lisa’s wedding. The menu included appetizers of Lobster Scallion Shooters, Thai Corn Battered Shrimp with Honey Soy Sauce, Tempura Vegetables, and sushi rolled on site by a Sushi Chef. Yum yum! (Allison Davis Photography)

MOST MEMORABLE GROOM’S CAKE: created by CANDY HAVEN Candy Haven created this fun cake for Chris & Kaitlin’s wedding to reflect the groom’s rock n’ roll lifestyle! I love the Pin Up girl detail! (Ashley Langford Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE LINENS: JULES EVENT DECOR This fun print was custom made by Jules Event Decor for Fred & Ruby’s wedding. When paired with the hot pink color scheme, it really made the room come to life and definitely reflected the bride’s personality (Sweet Memories Photography).
MOST MEMORABLE DECOR: SIGNIFICANT EVENTS This was not the most expensive decor I did this year, but it was definitely the most fun and, not to toot my own horn, but it was created by Yours Truly! I had a great time custom designing these centerpieces for Cheryl’s 40th Birthday Party – each table reflected pictures of one of Cheryl’s favorite things. Thanks to Installation Floral for dressing them up! We also incorporated enlarged goofy pictures of Cheryl all over the event space and had Word Bubbles available for guests to leave their own commentary. It was a blast! (Roush Productions Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE TRADITION: CHINESE TEA CEREMONY Michael & Louise incorporated the traditional Chinese tea ceremony into their wedding reception. After Louise changed from her white wedding dress into a traditional red Chinese Qi Pao, the parents of the bride and groom were seated in the front of the room, and Michael and Louise served them tea with the help of an aunt who presided over the ceremony. It was very interesting and beautiful to watch! (Allison Davis Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE PARTY ATMOSPHERE: SIMPLY MUSIC At Jonathan & Lauren’s wedding, once the dancing started, it never stopped! This crowd literally shut the venue down, thanks to their DJ Simply Music. One thing the couple did that helps keep the energy up was to provide late night snacks to their guests. Of course, the open bar didn’t hurt either! (Joseph Mark Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: provided by ECLIPSE ENTERTAINMENT These “Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders” were provided by Eclipse Entertainment for a corporate initiative celebration for Medco, and they were definitely the life of the party! They kept the crowd excited and posed for numerous photos with them. You’d never know they weren’t the real thing!
MOST MEMORABLE DEPARTURE: MICHEL & JULIE With Michel being a fireman, we couldn’t think of a better departure vehicle provided by a friend of the bride’s! Michel and Julie hung on the back of the truck as their guests waved them away to their future happiness! Definitely a memorable moment! (Allison Davis Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE BOUQUET: INSTALLATION FLORAL I absolutely loved this bouquet created by Installation Floral for Jon & Lisa’s wedding. It was the perfect arrangement for an elegant backyard wedding. It was so natural looking, and Lisa loved it as well! (Allison Davis Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE FLORAL ARRANGEMENT: THE LILY PAD FLOWERS The Lily Pad and I have worked together on numerous events, but this was by far my favorite arrangement they have ever created. It was used at the entry to the church for Jeff & Lara’s wedding and guests couldn’t get over how beautiful it was. Of course, we moved it to the reception location as well, because I couldn’t let this piece go to waste! (Dorothy Gautreaux Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE LIGHTING: ABSOLUTE ENTERTAINMENT For the second year in a row, Absolute Entertainment provided spectacular lighting at Tucker Hill’s “Ghouls on the Lawn,” completely transforming the fountain area into a haunted extravaganza illuminated with color, fog, and motion. I always can’t wait for the sun to go down to see these lights in action! (Dallas Party Photography).
MOST MEMORABLE GRAPHIC DESIGN: C.E. COLLINS DESIGN This logo, created by C.E. Collins Design for the Dallas Hearing Foundation’s Sounds of the Season gala, was just one piece of the entire graphics package created for this event. Also designed were e-Blasts, Underwriting Packets, formal invitations, and programs. We truly branded the entire event thanks to professional graphic design!
MOST MEMORABLE “DO IT YOURSELF”: KEVIN & SARAH’S WEDDING Kevin and Sarah were the king and queen of the “Do It Yourself” wedding, though you would never know it based on how fabulous everything turned out! Sarah created the invitations and the programs, but you never would have known they were not done by a professional graphic designer! Sarah’s friends got together and bought wholesale flowers to create the centerpieces, and Kevin showed his engineering side by creating his cupcake tower exclusively with Legos! (Nam Nguyen Photography)
MOST MEMORABLE BRIDAL PHOTO:JULES & ALBIE PHOTOGRAPHY I love how Jules & Albie captured the light for this elegant photo of Jessica. It looks so serene and like something right out of a magazine!
MOST MEMORABLE BRIDE & GROOM PHOTO: JOSEPH MARK PHOTOGRAPHY This photo of Jonathan & Lauren by Joseph Mark is probably my favorite photo of the entire year. It was taken at the Nasher Sculpture Garden, and I love how he captured this intimate moment with the sprawling city in the background. Truly an iconic Dallas photo!
MOST MEMORABLE WACKY MOMENT: JEFF & LARA’S WEDDING Nothing could have prepared me from this “let’s surprise everyone including the wedding coordinator” moment at Jeff & Lara’s wedding! Apparantly, it is a tradition that at each one of Jeff’s family events someone dresses up in this alligator costume, and the entire family does a choreographed dance, including rolling around on the floor, to “Wipeout.” It was totally hilarious, but I had to exclaim, “What the hell is going on?” (Dorothy Gautreaux Photography)
Thanks to everyone who helped to provide me and my clients with these memorable moments! Here’s to many more in 2010! Happy Holidays!
