Vivianna and Joe held a stunning wedding in downtown Dallas that celebrated Vivianna’s Cuban heritage as well as the couple’s American roots. The guests were invited to the wedding via the beautiful and classic gold and ivory letterpress invitation suite by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events. Bridesmaids wore rosy pink gowns and carried blush and ivory bouquets. Vivianna wore an elegant lace dress by Cuban designer Lazaro Perez and carried a cascading bouquet of white orchids mixed with lush blooms. The ceremony was held in a stunning cathedral with Latin and Gotchic architectural elements. Lovely pink and white floral decorated the aisle and the altar. The reception was held at a historic downtown Dallas venue. Guests entered the venue to see beautiful displays of florals on modern acrylic stands. A live Cuban band played Latin jazz tunes while guests enjoyed Cuban inspired appetizers and signature cocktails including mojitos and coquitas. The ballroom looked spectacular with ivory chiffon draping, a lucite white dance floor, a custom light-up stage façade to mimic a Havana night club, clear Charlotte chairs, champagne linens, crystal chargers, and blush and ivory florals adorning each table. A delicious plated dinner, including Cuban specialties was served followed by a Dulce de Leche cake! A Salsa band and a pop DJ alternated sets keeping the dance floor packed all night. Late night snacks consisted of Cuban Guava Pastelitos as well as a Cuban coffee station! And, of course, we had a Cuban cigar roller rolling custom cigars!
Whitney & Dennis’s Wedding
Whitney and Dennis enjoyed a fun-filled wedding weekend surrounded by family and friends. Guests were invited to all of the events via our beautiful letterpress invitation suite by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events. We first transported some of the couple’s best friends to AT&T Stadium to watch Dennis’s alma mater Kansas State play in a bowl game. Back at the couple’s home later that night, we had a fun-filled Welcome Party for all of the out of town guests. The next day, the wedding was held at beautiful country club with the ceremony overlooking the golf course. Whitney wore a black and white lace gown and carried a bouquet in shades of pink as she was escorted down the aisle by her two sons. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a robust cocktail hour full of tasty appetizers and fun cocktails including a vodka ice luge with the couple’s custom monogram on it. The ballroom space looked wonderful with white leather lounge furniture, gold and white accent furniture, white linens, and lots of pink flowers! Guests enjoyed amazing food stations for dinner featuring a variety of cuisines. An elegant bridal cake provided dessert as did a groom’s cake displaying all of Dennis’s favorite things! A live band provided great energy for the dance party that ensued! Whitney’s favorite snack of soft pretzels with dipping sauces made for a yummy late night snack! A sparkler send-off ended this joyous weekend!
Rachel & Brady’s Wedding
Rachel and Brady’s wedding was the perfect mix of romantic touches with classic traditions! Letterpress invitations in ivory with touches of gold foiling by Significantly Said: Invitations by Significant Events made a grand statement from the beginning. One of Dallas’ most iconic churches hosted the ceremony. Bridesmaids wore a soft lilac floor length gown and held traditional bouquets filled with ivory floral and roses. Rachel’s stunning dress with delicate lace details was complimented by the pops of blush peonies in her bouquet with in a traditional cylinder shape. Brady and his groomsmen wore classic black tuxes that set the tone for the black tie affair. Their reception was held in a historical building in downtown Dallas with windows that take your breath away. Guests were welcomed into cocktail hour by the view and soft music played by the band. Bright beautiful whites and ivories with touches of blush and gold decorated the room. Guests enjoyed a variety of food stations for dinner that ended with a delicious cake and the groom’s ice cream sundae bar. The band kept the dance floor packed all night light long until we sent the happy couple off into the night with flowing ribbon wands!
