We worked with David’s wife Lisa to create a beautiful event celebrating David’s life and his decades of practice as an oral surgeon. We invited guests to the soiree by first designing an elegant invitation suite of laser cut lace jacket and metallic inserts through our invitation division: Significantly Said: Invitations By Significant Events. The party was held in a beautiful banquet space flanked by windows with the best views of downtown Dallas. Gorgeous bold colored floral in reds, purples, magentas, and greens accented the tables. A live musician sang and played guitar during guest arrival and dinner. David was delighted to see a fantastic cake sculpted in the form of many oral surgery items, including his office, made into a cake for all guests to admire and enjoy as dessert after their delicious dinner. Guests enjoyed reminiscing over drinks and through speeches and video of David and his life. It was a wonderful celebration for a wonderful man, and we were honored to be part of it!
To formally open their Dallas, TX office, QTS Data Centers commissioned Significant Events of Texas to produce their event for 600 employees and executives. The event was held at the new location itself and was broken up into different areas of the property. The event opened with all guests under a tented pavilion as executives and local officials did a formal ribbon cutting ceremony with a full A/V production in place. Following the presentation, attendees transitioned to the lunch tent where a delicious barbecue buffet, drinks, and desserts were served. Music played as attendees got to relax and enjoy catching up with each other. Tables were branded in QTS colors with white linens, black chairs, and red floral. The entire event was very successful, and the company was thrilled to have their brand represented so flawlessly and seamlessly.
Carolyn & Darryl’s wedding was the picture of urban sophistication. Carolyn broke the mold from the beginning by opting for a stunning custom grey gown adorned with malachite crystals in lieu of a traditional white gown and a red flower for her hair instead of a veil. Carolyn carried a striking bouquet of deep red peonies, gray berries and leaves, and ivory and green accents. Bridesmaids carried a similar palette which was striking against their black gowns. The ceremony was held on the rooftop of a historic downtown building surrounded by skyscrapers, windows, and open air views. Two modern arrangements of Bells of Ireland flanked the altar where Carolyn and Darryl exchanged their vows. Following the ceremony, guests headed downstairs for cocktail hour while our newlyweds held a private first dance on the roof, serenaded by a string quartet. The ballroom for our reception was a historic space with beautiful dark woods, city views, and carved artistic ceilings. Tables were covered in dark grey linens which paired perfectly with the mahogany chivari chairs, glass and gold chargers, and gorgeous red, cream, and green floral arrangements. After an amazing plated meal, the couple cut into their square tiered and gold painted wedding cake and a bevy of gourmet donuts! Guests enjoyed dancing and chatting until we sent the couple off into the Dallas city streets in their towncar!
