The Purdy Group wanted to have some summer fun for their employees and their families in both Bryan-College Station and Waxahachie, and we helped them do just that! Both events were held at venues in the country with lots of room to play. Many fun activities were set up for kids and adults alike including bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, yard games, video game trucks, and axe throwing! A yummy barbecue lunch was served and we had a shaved ice truck for dessert! Guests had fun mingling with their families and getting a chance to earn some fun door prizes!
Crescent Communities’ Groundbreaking Event for Novel Turtle Creek
To celebrate the launch of their newest project, Novel Turtle Creek, Crescent Communities held a Groundbreaking Event at the construction site. We dressed up this site with a clear structure tent with crystal chandeliers. A custom branded backdrop made the stage look beautiful as did the lovely florals and lounge furniture we had spread around the space. Guests arrived greeted by valet parking and passed and stationary hors d’oeuvres. A full bar with signature cocktails was also a hit. Executives “broke ground” with custom branded shovels and hard hats and then presented their overview of the project to the crowd. Guests enjoyed networking and great ambiance until they exited with custom branded favors!
Stream Realty’s State of the Market Event
For the second year in a row, Significant Events was proud to produce Stream Realty’s State of the Market for employees and clients. Guests arrived the chic uptown hotel venue and were greeted by a branded logo wall and frosted vinyls of Stream’s logo and event design applied to walls and windows for a really cool design effect. Hors d’oeurves and drinks were passed before attendees sat down for their General Session in the ballroom with presentations and a keynote speaker. Next attendees headed upstairs to an After Party space with sprawling views of downtown where they enjoyed music, networking, dinner stations, and passed ice cream sandwiches. A branded bottle of water and gourmet popcorn functioned as favors as guests departed after a successful day with Stream.
Farmer Brothers Groundbreaking Celebration
Dallas-Ft. Worth is excited to welcome Farmer Brothers Coffee to our area, and Significant Events was honored to coordinate their Groundbreaking Ceremony at their new location. We erected a tent on their property for a morning celebration with executives, employees, city leaders, and television crews. A continental breakfast was served along with their famous coffee as a variety of speakers and city leaders spoke about Farmer Brothers new venture in Texas. Brightly colored floral arrangements in Farmer Brothers’ branded yellow adorned the tables. Executives then donned hard hats and officially broke the ground with golden shovels. We are excited to see the next phase of this great company’s success in our state!
QTS Data Centers Facility Dedication Celebration
To formally open their Dallas, TX office, QTS Data Centers commissioned Significant Events of Texas to produce their event for 600 employees and executives. The event was held at the new location itself and was broken up into different areas of the property. The event opened with all guests under a tented pavilion as executives and local officials did a formal ribbon cutting ceremony with a full A/V production in place. Following the presentation, attendees transitioned to the lunch tent where a delicious barbecue buffet, drinks, and desserts were served. Music played as attendees got to relax and enjoy catching up with each other. Tables were branded in QTS colors with white linens, black chairs, and red floral. The entire event was very successful, and the company was thrilled to have their brand represented so flawlessly and seamlessly.
ASD Healthcare Field Day
ASD Healthcare wanted to have a fun-filled day for employees to cut loose and build team spirit, and we achieved this by creating a fun field day for them on a beautiful fall day. The participants arrived in special field day t-shirts and were checked in by our staff where they got a chance to enter a drawing for raffle prizes as well as receive their scorecard to register their scores at each activity station. Stations included a Football Obstacle Course with even inflatable Dallas Cowboys for the participants to tackle; a Football Tire Toss where they could earn points by throwing footballs through suspended tires; a Horseshoe Golf Station where they could earn points by putting into horseshoes; a Basketball Shooting Station to see how many baskets they could score in 1 minute; an Apple Stacking Station where they went head-to-head with another participant to see who could stack the most apples in 1 minute; a Wacky Relay where teams ran relay races with silly props; and a Hula Hoop Tic-Tac-Toe station where they tried to score points by throwing hula hoops over other participants in chairs! The participants had a blast with all of these activities as well as the “Dunk the Boss” tank that we had set up near the entrance. Hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks, and drinks were served, and medals were awarded at the end to the participants with the most points via our emcee who facilitated the entire event. It was a great event and one that left all of the participants smiling and excited to work for ASD!
